OK, I'm not a Rachael Ray fan. But I do want to thank her for letting America know how to make the perfect hard-boiled egg.
  1. Put the eggs in the pot and cover them with cold water.
  2. Cover the pot. Turn on heat to high and bring the water to a boil.
  3. After a rolling boil, turn off the heat and leave the pot covered for 10 minutes.
  4. After 11 minutes, remove the cover and run cold water over the eggs until the eggs are cold.
Voila! Easy to peel, perfect egg.
