I attended a fundraiser for my nieces' local theatre company last Sunday. The kids are absolutely amazing. My niece sang"I Know where I've Been" from Hairspray, and she blew me away. I got teary-eyed watching her. A parent who was watching said she's so soulful. The new director for their spring musical got on his feet as soon as she finished her song, big smile on his face. It was well-worth driving through blinding snow to see the show.
I'm so proud of my nieces. I wish I was crazy talented like them.
